We have several options available to provide support for counsellors trained in IFS. For those wanting support using IFS in their clinical practice, we offer Individual or dyadic supervision, video reviews, and a bi-weekly IFS Supervision group.
For those wishing to become a Certified IFS Therapist and have completed their level 1 training, we offer individual or dyadic consultation with an IFS- I Approved Clinical Consultant and a 5 week IFS Consultation group to help you prepare for the certification process. Kate is also available to watch a video of you working with a client to offer feedback and suggestions.
The IFS model is complex and every client’s internal system is different. IFS Consultation is an opportunity for you to receive individual support to increase your understanding of the IFS process and build your skills as an IFS Therapist. This is your time to ask questions, discuss a client, or learn more about aspects of the model that might be helpful for you.
As Kate is an Approved Clinical Consultant with the IFS-I, your consultation meetings will count towards the 7 hours of individual consultation required for IFS Certification.

The best way to assess your readiness to become a Certified IFS Therapist is to have Kate watch a video of you providing an IFS Session. Kate can then let you know if there are any areas that may need improvement or if you demonstrated the competencies required in all 8 areas that will be assessed for certification.
